Dawnella came to me to have a portrait done with her (at the time) only daughter Scarlett who was unaware that she was about to become a big sister. Dawnella wanted to make sure Scarlett didn’t feel forgotten when the new addition to their family arrived. This precious portrait conveys the security Scarlett feels as she basks in her mother’s warmth and rests in her mother’s love. As she grows, this portrait on the walls of their home will be a regular reminder of how special and tender is the bond between her mother and her.
